Exciting Changes in 2014

Exciting things are happening with the future of our school including, on January 6, 2014, new ownership with a commitment to drive Northern Educate and Achiever Academy along a path to grow and flourish.

We’re proud to welcome Greg Gartner and Tom Forsythe, whose newly formed Ability Academic & Athletic, LLC will continue operating our current programs, while investing in creating an even better academic and athletic environment to serve our valued students and families.

Greg and Tom are both local businessmen with a passion for excellence in sports and education. Both have been actively involved in hockey associations, and have sons who play hockey -- in fact, Greg's son is one of our students.

Tom has experience operating a charter school in Florida. Greg is CEO of Stillwater-based Gartner Studios, and is a partner in the Lumberyard Hockey and Sports Center. His companies also are a rink sponsor and concessions vendor at the St. Croix Valley Recreation Center, and will soon operate a restaurant at Bielenberg Sports Center.

They are excited to provide an exceptional educational experience for each of our students, and know that patience, listening to our parents and kids, and knowing our path to success will help us do that better than anyone else.

Moving forward, the focus will be on enhancing the quality of our programs, with individual growth plans for each academic and athletic area --  to and take them to the highest possible level. Our collective goal? To create well-rounded student-athletes who are passionate about their sport.

All future activities will help us remain true to our vision statement: To build an inspiring place where young ambitious student athletes can come to find and discover their gifts, evolve, prosper, and lead.

Look for more updates to come!
